Spray of Anthuriums, Aangur, South Seas. Miles Catalog No. 118. Incredible textural elements from use of gaufrage in the design of her dress, as well as silver and pearl-powder mica on flowers and dress.

Dimensions:
18.5x14.25 inch paper. conservation matted to 20x16 in.

Condition:
Truly excellent. Fine color and impression with only the very faintest evidence of a line from prior matting.

Notes: Prominent gauffrage on the dress, with overprintings in silver, gray, mustard and pink. Silver metallic on leaf veins and in dress. Richard Miles says because Jacoulet had only one printer in residence in 1951, only half the edition was ever printed of this Polynesian beauty. Note the alluring innocent expression, with a soft blush on her cheeks
